Bad Mummy

Last night I felt like the worst mummy in the world. While clipping Jacob's fingernails with baby nail clippers I nipped his little finger and it bled. He cried, I cried and Luke had to stop playing WoW and comfort us both.
The moral of the story is stick to the embroidery scissors - although they're sharp and pointy they actually seem to be safer.

I was always scared of clippers, it was nail scissors all the way for me. I knew other mums who would only use their teeth! We were on holidays last week with friends who have a 3 month old and mum was clipping bubs' nails and did exactly the same thing. Ow. Fortunately they forget real quick ;-)

tee hee

I too clipped William's little finger. After that I couldn't do it till he got much older.
Now William asks for "nippy nip"

Hope it makes you feel better that Both penny and I did it too AND I'm sure you are both over it now.

HUGS to you all!!!!
